Returns Policy

At Baby4You we are 100% committed to providing you with the highest quality goods at affordable prices. We pride ourselves in the quality of our customer service and products and are sure you will be as delighted with the quality of the goods you have purchased as we are.

DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

Whilst the majority of our products are not breakable or fragile, for those items which are please check your purchase immediately upon receipt to ensure that it has not been damaged in transit. in the unlikely event that your item has been damaged in transit, please retain all original packaging and contact us immediately so that we provide details of how to return the product so that we can lay a claim for damages and replace or repair the item for you.

FAULTY GOODS

The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Baby4You.  In the event that any of the goods sold on our site are found to be faulty within 28 days of receipt, once returned these will be either repaired or replaced. In the event that we do not have a replacement item in stock a credit refund of the purchase price for the goods (excluding postage) will be offered instead. We do not offer cash refunds.  This credit can be used to purchase products from the Baby4You store to a similar value.

In the event that your believe your item is structurally faulty please contact us within 28 days of receipt.

The following electronic goods are covered by an extended manufacturers six month guarantee.

  • Fetal Dopplers

CHANGE OF MIND

Due to health regulations and the personal use nature of many of our medical devices such as ovulation tests, ovulation microscopes, thermometers, pillows, body jewelery, breast pumps etc we ask that you choose very carefully, as we unable to refund replace or exchange products once opened based on changes of mind, personal factors or unanticipated results. These items will only be repaired or replaced if found to be have manufacturing faults within 28 days of purchase.

Please choose carefully when selecting supplements, DVD’s and CD software as these items can not be exchanged or refunded.

HOW TO RETURN FAULTY ITEMS

If you believe your item is faulty it is crucial that you make contact with us first so that we can advise you of the correct address to return particular items to along with instructions as to what should be included with your return. Items simply returned to our main office address without any prior notification or arrangements may risk being returned to you. Please note that the cost of returning items is generally at the receivers expense.

Delivery Information

Delivery Times:

We want you to receive your products as soon as possible, therefore we try to send all orders within 48 hours of payment clearance, excluding weekends and public holidays. As our courier pick up is at 3pm, credit card orders received after 2.30pm will not be dispatched until the following morning. Orders paid by bank transfer and cheque will be dispatched when payment has cleared in our account.

Please note orders dispatched on Friday will be delivered on Monday, as we do not use the Saturday morning courier delivery option. Orders placed from 2 pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday. It is common for courier deliveries to rural addresses to take an extra day.

Stock Availability

Most stock is available as required through the website. However from time to time items do fall below our listed stock levels and need to be ordered from our suppliers. In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is not in stock and needs to be placed on back order we will inform you of this and regularly update you regarding progress. When multiple items have been ordered, some of which are on back order, we will ship each item as soon as it becomes available at no additional postage charge.

Cost:

Your order will be carefully packaged and sent with either Courier Post or PBT anywhere in New Zealand with the exception of Great Barrier, Stewart and Chatham Island for a one off cost of $6.50 irrespective of volume. This is a targeted overnight delivery service, however please be aware that this can not be guaranteed and deliveries to rural addresses may take longer.

Packaging: 

All our products are carefully packaged to minimise risk of damage during transit and are sent in standard Courier Post track-packs with no identifying company information, logos or marks. You can rest assured no one will know what you have purchased due to our discrete, unidentifiable packaging.

Loss or Damage During Transit:

All items are fully insured against loss or damage during transit. In the unlikely event that your product has been damaged please retain all packaging and contact us immediately upon receipt.

If you believe your order has been delayed, please contact us immediately so that we may carry out a trace on your order and follow this up accordingly.

International Customers 

We ship worldwide via (untracked) International Airmail. For UK, Europe, North America and Asia this can take approximately 6 to 12 working days to reach the destination upon notification of dispatch. However because NZ Post can not control all parts of the delivery chain we can not guarantee your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery in remote areas, those outside major cities, or when your item is dutiable or held by customs may take longer.

This service is not tracked and does not require a signature upon delivery. There is standard cover for loss or damage during transit of up to $NZ250. However this is subject to a number of important limitations and exclusions in particular in relation to restricted and prohibited items For information regarding these conditions we suggest you visit www.nzpost.co.nz/compensation. Please also note that the compensation process will involve the receiver completing necessary documentation which will enable us to obtain the necessary compensation in order to reimburse the receiver.

Should you require a trackable, faster, signature required service we provide a Courier delivery service to 46 destinations. This service will provide delivery within 2-6 working days, has online tracking and is a door to door signature on delivery service.
